Dual citrus juicers
The Dual Series juices all citrus fruits; lemons, limes, oranges and grapefruits. The segments of the design both juice and create finger grips. Also doubles as a sculptural centrepiece and with no parts, cleaning is effortless. The Dual Citrus Juicers are available in clear, lime, orange and red.

The original orange juicer derived from the concept of freshness, vibrancy, a healthy lifestyle and summer. The target market are those that are design conscious and lead a fast paced urban lifestyle.

The form developed from the idea of a sphere. In order for it to function it needed points which then lead to mirroring the standard juicing element. The development of the juicer began with an analysis of forms, measurements and angles of citrus juicers currently available. In addition, for the design of the series, measurements of a variety of each kind of citrus fruit were gathered over a period of time and from various locations. The details compiled were used to create the standard measurements that would have the best capacity to provide for a variety of that particular citrus fruit.

Various shapes were experimented with using these measurements to create the final three forms that worked aesthetically and functionally on their own and also within the series. The forms are rounded to juice the internal citrus pulp, have a point to enter the fruit flesh, yet are safe on the palm of the hand.
